AAU Hockey is getting ready to host over 110 teams this week at the AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics in Kapolei, Hawaii, July 5-14.

ORLANDO, Fla. – AAU Inline Hockey is set to host over 1,500 athletes this week in their final event of the year, the AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics. Approximately, 110 teams have registered to make the trip out to Kapolei, Hawaii to compete for the title of champion. WIth a record setting team participation from Hawaii, there is compeition is bound to be heart pounding for the home front. 

The games are slated to start in a round robin format, starting Friday, July 5 and leading to semi-final and medal games as the competition field is narrowed. There will be 16 different divisions, including 8U to 18U, International age divisions, as well as a Men’s and Over 35 divisions.

Athletes will hail from 12 different states – California, Florida, Philadelphia, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada and Hawaii. In addition, there will be six countries represented – South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States.
