The City Honors /Cardinal O'Hara Club Varsity team finished the regular season with a 27-8-1 record which won the White Division in WNY. In the state playoffs, at the Northtown Center in Amherst N.Y., they defeated South Park/Riverside 8 - 1, Lynbrook /East Rockaway 7 - 6, and Jamestown 7-1. In the semi-finals they defeated Alden 5-1 and in the championship game they defeated Jamestown. They were lead by forward John Liberti, defenseman Tom Samar, and goaltender Will Kuettel. Head Coach John Dunn called the tournament one of the greatest achievements in the history of City Honors/Cardinal O'Hara Hockey.
